To us, adoption is more than the urgency of placing an animal within any home, it is about determining the right fit for the animal, and the right fit for the family, in order to find a forever home. In many cases, these animals have experienced trauma or abandonment before coming to the sanctuary and safety of Blue Chip Farm.
Not only have we worked to gain their trust, but we have cared for them, fed them, played with them, cleaned up after them, and loved them since the day they came to us. It our mission to find the right family to take over our care. It is important to understand that, just as with humans, animals have differing personalities and strengths. It is our job to get to know YOU as a family, hear your story, understand what kind of companion you are seeking, so that we can match you with the right furry fit. This is why we ask you to complete an application for adoption, after which you can meet with our staff and start the journey toward your new best friend.
